The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will separate from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then settled his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could enable the team access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them few options but to travel to the remote area in search of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Explorers and Planners groups.

Viewers can anticipate learning which adventurers will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
